Chevron TM manages traffic for organisations working within Utilities, Construction, Rail, High-Speed Network, Local Authorities and Events which have to disrupt a normal traffic flow to complete a project. We work in collaboration with our customers and use the most up-to-date technology and innovative systems to ensure the absolute safety of employees, contractors and the general public.
We Understand the Challenges You Face
We know that planning and organising major works, events or short-term projects can be a logistical nightmare.
We know that co-ordinating with relevant stakeholders and ensuring that processes and procedures are followed can be challenging.
We know that safeguarding your workers and the general public is your over-riding priority.
We know this because we have been doing it successfully for over 40 years and we can do it for you. We have worked on some of the most complex projects in the high-speed and low-speed networks. We have worked with Utilities and Rail customers and we have managed major events including the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race and Royal Ascot. We have built our business working in collaboration with our customers, stakeholders and relevant authorities to develop comprehensive, detailed plans which put safety first.
How we do it
We specialise in the provision of temporary traffic management throughout England and Wales in accordance with NHSS 12A, B, C & D. Managing any level of contract, we give unrivalled support from the consultation and design phase, right through to work completion and sign-off.
We place huge emphasis on our performance and ability to deliver, meet and exceed our clients' expectations. Continued growth, and the increasing volume of operatives working for us out on the highway, demands a smarter, system-led approach to managing our key processes. Safe systems of work, competency management, working hours, fatigue and the visibility of revenues are all fundamental to Chevron's successful operation.
Safety Driven by Innovation
Safety is our key driver. We have recognised the impact of technology on the provision of safe, effective and timely traffic management services. We collaborate with our smart zone technology specialists, HRS, to provide innovative, safety-focused technology for use in high-speed work zones.
This collaboration has enabled us to develop technically advanced traffic management plans which provide real-time information to our clients and to the general public. The most important benefit of this innovation is that we can anticipate and prevent potential accidents which otherwise could have devastating consequences.
Highly Trained Employees
Our site-based operatives and supervisors are central to the delivery of a successful business.
Based on the quality, performance and feedback of our employees, we believe we have the best in the business. The reason for this belief is that we invest heavily in training, development and career progression with the Chevron Group. In 2020, we launched our tailored learning and development platform – the Chevron Academy. This platform provides and monitors the completion of mandatory and non-mandatory training to ensure that our employees are not only legally compliant but that they have the opportunity to enhance their expertise and progress through the company through the range of courses available via the Academy.
Our Success lies in Collaboration
Collaboration is key to the success of your projects. Our approach is get into the heart and the detail of your project; to build a relationship with you that gives us a clear understanding of your requirements; to bring our 30 years’ experience, expertise and industry knowledge; and to build the most effective traffic management plan for you.
We regard ourselves as an extension of your project team. We take the traffic management element of your project and own it so that you can get on with the business of managing the overall project. This proven approach works for our clients who regularly comment on the collaborative nature of our business.
