Chevron is proud to announce that it has been awarded a place on each of the 12 Lots on the new Highways Agency Category Management Framework.
Split into 4 geographic regions (3 lots per region), the Framework covers the entire HA Area Network and is available for use by the Welsh Assembly, Scottish Exec and Local Authorities.
The scope of work includes the provision of Traffic Management in accordance with Highways Agency Sector Schemes 12A, 12B, 12C & 12D, together with the provision of Temporary Vehicle Restraint Systems, Vehicle Recovery, CCTV, TASCAR, and Temporary Road Markings.
Following notification of award, Commercial Director, Tim Cockayne commented “We are delighted to be the highest scoring tenderer across all 12 Lots and see this as an excellent opportunity to grow the business; building upon our expertise gained through 10 years involvement on the HA Area 9 and 10 Construction Management Frameworks”.
Set to run until March 2017, the Framework represents a new direction in HA procurement, which focuses on driving efficiency gains and improved performance through consolidation of its Traffic Management supply chain base. Tier 1 Contractors engaged on the Managed Motorways Framework, Asset Support Frameworks, and Asset Support Contracts will therefore be expected to utilise the Category Management Framework to deliver the majority of their Traffic Management requirements.
