Chevron Newport is awarded Depot of the Year 2016

The ‘Depot of the Year Award’ is presented annually to the highest ranking Chevron depot.

In assessing performance the following criteria are considered; Safety statistics, Observation Reporting, Financial Performance, Labour Utilisation, and IMS Audit Performance Gavin Dymond accepted the award on behalf of the Newport depot at the recent Chevron Annual Conference.

Tim Cockayne commented, “Over the past year, the team at Newport has taken massive steps forward and have been at the forefront of Championing the ‘Chevron Way’. They have raised the bar in terms of safety performance through their participation in the depot safety video programme and their commitment to observation reporting.”

Darren Clarke said, “I am very proud of the depot and extremely grateful to all of the team for their hard work which has led to them getting the recognition they deserve.”

Thank you for your help. The works to the bridge were completed and great teamwork from both crews. I had a good view from the bridge and was very impressed by their work. Always said it....TM is an art form!

Can I please express my thanks on behalf of everyone at Kier for the exceptional aptitude and attitude shown by one of your site teams who were engaged in a recent local community project. As with any town centre closure there were some ‘challenges’ thrown at the crew but their attitude and commitment to the safety of the children, parents and support groups was second to none. A404 Resurfacing

Could I say a big thank you to yourselves and to all your crews which were on site at the A404 Resurfacing scheme last night. I have spoken to the Tarmac site supervisor from the Chieveley depot this morning who was very appreciative of how helpful and how good it was to work with the crew that was on site.
