Chevron Traffic Management, part of Ramudden Global UK has once again cemented our reputation as a leader in workplace safety, earning the internationally acclaimed RoSPA President’s Award after securing its 14th consecutive Gold Award from The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

The award recognises our exceptional health and safety performance during the period from 1 January to 31 December 2024, reflecting our ongoing commitment to creating safer, healthier environments for its workforce and the public.

Presented by RoSPA, the world’s longest running and most recognised health and safety awards programme, the accolade places us among a select group of global organisations that consistently exceed the highest safety standards. Now in its 69th year, the RoSPA Awards attract nearly 2,000 entries annually from over 50 countries, covering more than seven million employees across all sectors.

Julia Small, RoSPA’s Growth Director, commented on Chevron’s achievement:

“Chevron Traffic Management should be proud of the hard work and commitment to keeping people safe that has resulted in a RoSPA Award. These awards honour those organisations who have achieved the highest standards in health and safety in the workplace. RoSPA regards Chevron as a strong example of the importance of making accident prevention central to any successful organisation—not only for employees, clients, and customers, but for society as a whole.”

Each entrant to the RoSPA Awards is judged against a rigorous set of criteria, making the programme one of the most respected in the health and safety industry. Whether aiming for non-competitive recognition or competing within one of the 20 industry sectors represented, recipients must demonstrate evidence of robust safety practices, a positive safety culture, and consistent implementation of health and safety management systems.

Sponsored by the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH), the RoSPA Awards continue to represent the pinnacle of achievement for those committed to preventing accidents and protecting lives.

Jamie Bowen, Head of ESG for Chevron Traffic Management and Ramudden Global UK, said:

"Well done to everyone in our workforce and the ESG team for their continued dedication to putting safety at the forefront of everything we do. This recognition underscores how prioritising safety is embedded in our culture, ensuring that it remains an integral part of everyday operations. It is through such commitment that we continue to foster a safe and secure working environment for all.”

Phil Last, Head of Health and Safety for Chevron Traffic Management and Ramudden Global UK, commented:

“We are honoured to once again receive this recognition from RoSPA, our people are at the heart of everything we do, and this award is a testament to their dedication, professionalism, and relentless focus on safety.”
