Area 3 Supply Chain Commission Award 2008-2013

Chevron, as part of the Traffic Management Team in Highways Agency Area 3 (MAC), has received the award for outstanding contribution to Health and Safety.

The award highlights the usage of near side signing and sign simplification which has in turn saved over 350,000 carriageway crossings.

A great end to the current contract; Chevron are now looking forward to a new five year contract to provide Traffic Management services on the new Highways Agency Area 3 Asset Support Contract (ASC).

M62 J25-30 Managed Motorways scoops another win at the Yorkshire and Humber Construction Excellence Awards 2013

Following the recent success at the CIHT 2013 awards earlier this year the project has now gone on to win a further Health and Safety award for ‘Eliminating the need for Road Workers to undertake live Carriageway Crossings’.

The scheme has made use of a five point plan to eliminate the need for road workers to undertake live carriageway crossings and has achieved the delivery of zero crossings on a very heavily congested section of 65km of motorway.
