The R&W Group and Chevron Traffic Management are pleased to announce that from January 2nd, 2020, R&W Traffic Management Ltd, a business within the R&W Group previously owned by Chantacre Ltd, became part of the Chevron Group.
This acquisition by Chevron Group broadens its presence and capability in a sustainable way, building on the strong reputation and success of R&W Traffic Management. The addition of R&W Traffic Management’s people and resources to the Chevron business further enables the continued advancement and innovation in traffic management to generate safer, customer-focused solutions.
R&W will continue to focus on its core civil engineering business and to fulfil the requirements of its key highways and rail sector clients, including Highways England, Local Authorities and Network Rail. The change in ownership will not affect R&W Traffic Management’s ongoing commitments and R&W’s Senior Leadership Team will continue to be actively involved in the business through to the end of the financial year (March 2020). The business will continue to trade as R&W Traffic Management Ltd under its new ownership in the short term.
All other businesses within the R&W Group – R&W Civil Engineering Ltd, R&W Rail Ltd, R&W Langley Ltd, R&W Environmental Ltd and R&W Ltd – will continue to partner with Chevron on future opportunities as the Chevron Group becomes their preferred traffic management supplier.
