Chevron, alongside fellow Area 9 Supply Chain partners exhibited as part of Kier Highways ‘Transformation Through Innovation’ demonstration at this year’s Seeing is Believing.
The event, held in Bruntingthorpe, Leicestershire combines both indoor exhibition with outdoor displays and demonstrations in real working environments, making this the perfect environment in which to showcase the very latest innovations from the highways industry.
Out on the Tarmac Chevron showed Traffic Management ‘Past Present and Future’ - A demonstration of how Traffic Management practices have improved over the years, focussing on the evolution of TM Vehicles, PPE worn by our operatives and the improvements in TM Equipment, in particular the Electronic Airlock Gate System.
The inside stand gave us a great opportunity to exhibit our ERP System - A bespoke software with incorporated ‘Chevron App’ that captures and leads our business functions; incorporating Safe systems of work, Competency Management, Working Hours, Fatigue Management and Revenue Visibility, all of which are fundamental to operating successfully. Our system, which is live across the business, generates insight, auditable data and a single point of access into everything we do.

“Thanks to all who have contributed to what was a great event; from my perspective as both as a visitor and an exhibitor. The event gave great insight, demonstrating how capable, collaborative and forward thinking Kier and its strategic supply chain partners are at present and in influencing real changes for the future. A great collaborative effort”
