To ensure the complete safety of your work zones, our unique site safety products, such as SVEA and Urban Barrier Systems, can be fully integrated with Intellitag® for remote 24/7 monitoring – meaning full continuity on site.

We collaborate with our digital partner, Highway Resource Solutions (HRS), to integrate cutting-edge digital technology into our traffic management plans. 

The innovative digital services improve the safety and efficiency of temporary work zones, including the Intellitag® system. Intellitag® is created to improve safety, efficiency, and transparency by generating a “digital twin” of temporary traffic management assets. This digital twin enables real-time monitoring, allowing 24/7 access to the status of your work zone. 

The key advantage of using Intellitag® is that it reduces the need for routine maintenance checks by sending alerts if barriers or signs are compromised. This saves time, enhances safety, and provides real-time evidence of the traffic setup.

An example of what the Intellitag® system does is to look at the A509 Milton Keynes East diversion route. 

The monthly savings on site were:

• 900 manhours.
• 4680 miles.
• 615 litres of diesel.
• 1.65 tonnes of carbon.

The Intellitag® system not only offers real-time monitoring but also contributes significantly to the futureproofing of diversion routes and other traffic management plans, ensuring their effectiveness in the long run. 

Through digital monitoring and rapid adjustments, Intellitag® guarantees that all signage remains compliant and easily visible, reducing the potential for confusion or accidents. SES Water

When a burst water main on the A217 in Banstead, Surrey required a carriageway closure, Sutton and East Surrey Water (SES Water) turned to Chevron TM for help. We implemented a cost-effective digital traffic management solution to ensure the safety of their workforce, provide information to local residents and traffic, and reduce the impact on road users.

Network Rail

When Network Rail had previously carried out essential maintenance works at the Thorpe Bank level crossing near Doncaster it had led to high levels of hostility and threatening behaviour from the general public to their workers. Eager to avoid a repeat, Network Rail approached Chevron TM to implement a safe and cost-effective traffic management plan which could prevent incursions, protect rail workers and minimise interaction between rail workers and the general public. The solution was the creation of a digital enclosure using Intellicone® Portable Site Alarms, Customer Communication Terminals and CCTV, which resulted in zero threats or confrontations with the general public.
